All aboard! Introducing Yacht and Marina, a collection of interior and exterior sounds recorded on board a yacht in Dun Laoghaire marina, Ireland.
Featuring the gentle sounds of boats rocking in the harbour,
ropes creaking, seagulls cawing, engines, motors and pumps working and the distant traffic and hum of the town.
Explore the inside of the yacht with the sounds of the galley, stairs, cabinets, cabin doors, furniture, hatches, bells and switches.
We have also included a bonus set of contact mic recordings of the yacht’s ropes and cables for some wild zings, plucks and boings.

Our Voyage
To create Yacht & Marina we meticulously recorded both the interior and exterior sounds of the vessel.
Above deck we captured the ambience of the marina, boats rocking gently, footsteps walking across the pontoons, the sounds of sea birds and the comings and goings of other boats in the marina.
Venturing below deck, we recorded the unique sonic atmospheres that can only be found in the cabins of a boat as well as all manner of doors, switches, latches found in the cabins and galley.
